The Resignation of Pope Benedict XVI — the fulfillment of prophecy?

The Resignation of Pope Benedict XVI -- the fulfillment of prophecy?

I am fascinated by yesterday’s resignation of Pope Benedict XVI. A resignation has not happened in over 600 years. I’ve read the Pope’s statement and understand his reasoning for stepping down. At the same time, I cannot help but wonder what else might be going on behind the scenes. I also am fascinated with how this correlates with Prophecy.

I first want to say that I know that some of my almost 1300 readers are non-believers. I personally believe that politics and prophecy go hand in hand. I don’t think you can truly understand politics unless you understand prophecy as well. I was telling a friend the other day that I delve into the politics end of issues. My sister delves into the prophecy end of the same issues. We then meet in the middle and discuss it all. The two truly go together.

I also want to add that some of my readers (and some of my very best friends) are Catholic. It is not my intent to offend any of them. I believe that we all worship and obey the same God in Heaven.

This photograph has been reported as being caught on security cameras at the Vatican. Lightning struck the Vatican after Pope Benedict had announced his resignation. This has been confirmed as not being photoshopped. There are naysayers who say that lightning strikes the Vatican all the time, so this is nothing at all. Fine. So believe what you will, but I find it interesting. Especially when you consider the Bible verse from Luke 10:18. “And He said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” In Hebrew, “lightning” is “Barak”.

There are two videos I would like to share with you. One is by Hal Lindsey and I found it on my friend’s page, Right-Winged Birds of Pray.

The second video is from PP Simmons.

Both are fascinating. I think one thing all Conservatives can agree upon, we are living in very fast-moving spiritual times. ~~Sister Patriot
